Visser Leeuwarden was founded in 1910 by Gerben Visser. In the fifties and sixties of the last century, the company developed more and more into a specialist in rescue vehicles.

Visser Leeuwarden has built an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality ambulances, defense, police and light fire vehicles in more than 100 years of existence. We are the market leader in the Netherlands in the field of ambulance construction and special vehicles for the fire brigade. But we also focus intensively on the development and equipment of vehicles for defense and special projects. We ensure that you can safely, well and with pride do your job.
Our company develops and produces, in close cooperation with the customer, specific products on demand. Think of, for example, ambulance boats, command vehicles, dive team buses and the installation of electronics.
International
Our company has grown to many tens of employees, divided over the departments sales, engineering, production and service. Visser Leeuwarden is part of the internationally operating Albert Ziegler GmbH and partner of the German Ambulanz Mobile, with which it can rely on a leading technology cluster in emergency vehicles.
